Two sets of flightplans in here. One is a straight set of plans created by the 52-week planner, and the mashup folder is this basic set with several weeks changed for other plans that put the aircraft into Pakistan, the Persian Gulf states, Iran, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and I think a visit to Saudi Arabia. They rarely get as far as Europe, where I imagine they are either getting avionics updates or displaying at some conference or other. They get into Innsbruck, Hamburg, Amsterdam and Olbia in different weeks. I'm fairly sure that one also reaches Istanbul, LTBA, on its way to Innsbruck. These are 52-week plans, so you will still be extremely lucky to find one there on arrival, unless you use only that week, of course.

In case you think Europe is unlikely, they have been imaged at Braunschweig and other secondary airports in Germany on very rare occasions. So, not impossible. It's odd that the longer-range Sovereigns don't seem to leave China.

I've based these aircraft notionally at airports around China but on the condition that they will, for a proportion of the time, fly from there to ZBAA before going anywhere else. This keeps ZBAA fairly busy with visits, but scatters the fleet widely as well. As the Excels perform navaids checking this is normal behavior for them. There will even be TNG flights for a modest proportion of the flights. As these are IFR TNG flights, the aircraft won;t clog up the runway unless it lands there at the end of its detail, as IFR TNGs are actually go-arounds. It's also possible that an aircraft will finish a TNG detail and instead of landing will continue to its next destination (this is achieved by making the arrival after TNGs and the departure to the next destination about 3 or 4 minutes apart - then the aircraft doesn't land.

The Sovereigns are all based at ZBAA and fly from there normally for other purposes than navaid checks. The entire fleet flies over 13200 sectors in China over the year, but China is a very big place.
